His classroom is inviting, his teaching style is structured like a real college course complete with homework each day, the ambiance feels just like a classroom, yet it’s so cozy. It is not as structured as an app like Duolingo (I suggest using that in conjunction to continually practice) which is great if you want to learn in more of a local way. Yulio is flexible and can really take the time to tudor you one on one for more than just one hour time slots if you prefer. He has a great rate as well! Price was extremely reasonable and after this time I'm happy to say I'm fluent. His classes give you a good handle on day to day conversation as well as the necessary fundamentals in a formal manner but not 'by the book'. This helped to increase my confidence, after a few weeks I was able to converse basically with my friends in Spanish. Cheers dude!"

To learn Spanish, we both went to another language school in Tulum, but the concept and price did not appeal to us. My wife then preferred to learn Spanish by herself with books etc.. But this is not a method for me and so I found Julio as my Spanish teacher and that was great. The lessons with him are instructive, varied, practical and also entertaining. Julio is more of a friend than a teacher and I really enjoy my Spanish lessons with him. He is also very knowledgeable about topics such as Mexican culture and politics.
